One of my least favorite categories of dream is teaching dreams. I mean, if I have to work while I'm awake, shouldn't I get to do something more entertaining while I sleep? Totally unfair.
I had a "first day of class" dream. These almost always take place in lab. I think because there's a lot more opportunity for something to go wrong. I'd forgotten to tell the students how to get their lab manuals, so no one had brought one. I was trying to find enough lab manuals for everyone, but it wasn't working out.
I also hate first day of class dreams... Mine this year involved me telling off a VP because he had turned up at my house for Sunday morning breakfast, but I knew that he had not finished the scedule yet. I told him to get out of my house and get to work because he did not deserve to eat until he had finished his work.
ReplyDeleteThis was nearly a true story... We did not get teaching scheduals until late Sunday evening.
We have been told there will be at least one revision next week...
Obviously, someone fed him and that caused all of the issues with poor planning!
